Teachers who can engage kids.  Teachers who can find the "right way" to connect with individual learners.   Listeners, not talkers.   Thinking differently, not putting kids in a box.    R/ships.  Feedback.   Create a place where kids want to come to school.   Teachers who know my child and have their back.  Flexible in their approach.    Inspiring kids to do their best.    Knowing individual needs.

How does BEST relate to the aspirations we have for our students/your children?

Compassionate, caring learners.  Have pride.   An eager learner.   Respectful and empathetic.     Resilience.   Have a go attitude.   Curious about the world.   A solid grounding in the basics.      Being aspirational learners.    Self-motivated.    Self-disciplined.  

Thinking 3 years ahead, what would you expect the school to be like with BEST in mind?

Licences/badges still a key part.   Tech - build upon current programme.
Inclusion.    Community spirit.    Opportunities for all.  Values.   Pride in school.  Children following passions.     Values as a pillar for graduate profile.    Wellbeing valued.     Forward thinking.   Strong sense of community and connection with families.

high reflective teachers.   teachers who can successfully work together to achieve shared outcomes.    Variety of learning tasks.  Including student voice not just giving choice.  

How does BEST relate to the aspirations we have for our students/your children?
Confident learners - thinkers, collaborators, creators.

Known for excellence in teaching and learning
Known for school success across many areas
Known for being future focused in terms of curriculum delivery
