Covid Experiences:
  • Home class/choice time
  • Smaller report to parents - values
  • Check and Connect
  • Slower Pace
  • Blended approach to learning
Impacts:

Take aways that we want to keep:
  • Avoid the rush
  • Maintain homeroom time/class culture
  • Student agency promoted
  • Blended approach - real time / digital platform / feedback via seesaw
Our next steps:
  • Review who is in the team for 2020.  Rep from Māpuna? Tech?
  • Schedule three meetings a term
  • Introduce a consistent way to review PB4L data - both incidents and level of acknowledgements across the school. Hot spots and trends re times and severity.   Share with staff twice a term (mid and end) Using this data for decision making.
  • PB4L and values fortnightly focus
  • Using the Breens PB4L curriculum as a tool when assisting children to make better behaviour decisions.  ie where is this behaviour?  what will happen next if there is a repeat?
  • A place for radio station to promote?
