  • Open scene: Go to your computer, open a project in Google Vids, and navigate to the specific scene for your presenter. 
  • Select or build avatar: Click Change or AI Avatar on the side panel. Choose a pre-designed stock presenter, or opt to create a custom/personal avatar using prompts or a phone scan for a unique look. 
  • Add your script: Type or paste the text you want the digital presenter to speak into the script box. Use audio tags if you need to adjust emotion or pacing.

The following is a process for creating 3D models from locations: 

Capture: Take a screenshot of a location in Street View on Google Maps.

Step 1: Start with the goal (objective + standards)

Hi teachers. Here's how you can use NotebookLM to instantly differentiate instruction by turning complex reading passages into accessible audio lessons for your students.


Here's how I did it:


1. Create the Audio Source


Upload your reading passage, textbook PDF, or article link into NotebookLM. Click "Generate" on the Audio Overview feature. This creates an engaging "podcast-style" conversation between two AI hosts who explain the material simply and clearly.


2. Set Up the Station


Have students sit with their tablets (like in the photo!) and listen to the Audio Overview. This is perfect for a "Listening Station" or for supporting students with IEPs who need read-aloud accommodations but want to feel independent.
