The data is about how the teachers are moving the kids learning
PAT data comes in to challenge you and tell you what is going on in classrooms

PAT is a fidelity check on our internal sources
PATS are not tests of the curriculum, tests of the subject area
How children move though the progression of learning has not changed (despite curriculum changes)
The scale score is what we need to use. PAT scale position and progress benchmarks
Stanines are useful to see our school bell curve.
In any one test there is a two year stretch of question difficultly.
Adaptive tests can be given to all kids.

We need to cut through he data before we put it anywhere near our teachers. Find. A cohort that needs investigating or subject area that needs investigating?
