MAC Leaders Day with Hoana and Ros  Whakawhanautanga - strengthening relationships. What is the purpose of education for Māori? Using NZ and Maori contexts in everyday learning.   Maori contexts in learning. Being able to walk with confidence as a Maori and experience success as a Maori. Language, culture and identity. Manaakitanga  - mana enhancing and lifting. Doing things differently to enhance the mana of our Maori students.    Education that enhances what it means to be Maori.
